We the maji mazuri youth group committee on behalf of the members take the pleasure to cordially welcome you to the group and look forward to your active participation in the different activities of the group. It shall be great to have you as part of us in the journey to mould ourselves as youths and so we deem this as a best decision of you to join the group.
Below is a summary of what we do at the group.
1. We normally meet at the youths’ hall as from 2pm-4pm every Sunday but some activities prompt us to meet in the morning hours during the Sundays. We have both indoor and outdoor activities.
2. On Saturdays, we conduct projects that include the garbage project as from 10am-1pm and the peace project as from 3pm-5pm and a member must participate in either of the two projects.
3. It is expected of us to participate in weekly contribution on Sundays whereby we contribute a minimum of 10shillings to our group account. The money is meant to support the group in times of need.
4. The registration fee is 200Ksh and the renewal fee is 100Ksh. In the event of registration, you have to produce your passport photo. You should register with the treasurer.
5. The group has various clubs such as poetry, music, debate, drama, multimedia, sports just to mention a few. A member should participate in at least any of them.
6. We have a facebook page dubbed, maji mazuri youth group. Most of the communication is done here during the week days and hence you have to join the page to be up to date.
